    There are a variety of activities both on and off the resort. Our large 20’ x 40’ heated outdoor pool is a great place to meet new friends and get reacquainted with old ones. There are plenty of lounge chairs for those that want to soak up the sun. The sand beach with no drop offs, provides safe swimming and playing.

    There is free use of our canoe, paddleboat, funbugs and kayaks. You can enjoy a rousing game of basketball or volleyball. Those that want to be less active can play shuffleboard, horseshoes or swing ball. In the office there are books and games that can be signed out as well as candy, shirts and hats for sale. A hike along the shore will furnish a view of an eagle’s nest and maybe an eagle. There is another pair of nesting eagles on the main island.

    Don’t forget your golf clubs, we are only one mile from the local golf course and the rates are very reasonable. Restaurants are also in the area.

    A visit to Itasca State Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River, is an enjoyable day trip.

    The Lost Forty is a short drive away and affords you the opportunity to hike amongst 350 year old virgin red and white pine trees, and see what northern Minnesota looked like before loggers entered the area in the late 1800’s.

    In the evening you can enjoy campfires, roasting marshmallows or those oh so good s’mores. While at the campfire or sitting on the deck you can view gorgeous sunsets and listen to the loons. If you stay out late you may even get the chance to see those mysterious and majestic Northern Lights.
